This is a much better week.

Last week, I got my first job on Fiverr. Upside!!  Ironically, that was the same week that my Tascam decided it would no longer work with Windows 10 or Ableton.  Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement. The people at Cascio Music were really, really great. I ended up getting a Focusrite Scarlett Solo. It’s red, it’s amazing, it is so much easier to use. I was able to finish the job a day early and the customer was completely happy.  🙂

That gives me a little hope, at least. I had severe doubts about playing again. It’s been several years since I played with a group. Having good feedback from someone who is not family or friends is encouraging.

Next, I need to get more videos up.  I’ve been tied up helping a friend with music samples for wedding music, but that’s been fun.  I also have rehearsals every night this week for a choral performance this weekend. It doesn’t matter, I feel like I’ve been productive this last week. I have the tools I need and I found out that I have services people might want.
It was a decent week. Hopefully, I’ll have another.  (Here’s a picture of the Scarlett Solo. I really do love it.)
